Intergenerational Education

As our population continues to age, more young people will encounter someone with dementia—whether through family, friends, neighbors, community interactions, or even media.

Teaching young people about dementia is essential for reducing fear and breaking down the stigma surrounding the condition. It also creates opportunities to strengthen intergenerational connections, promote respect and equality for older adults, and help younger generations cultivate compassion and resilience.

Our intergenerational education programs aim to expand knowledge, inspire positive attitudes, and nurture empathy in young participants while encouraging a deeper sense of community responsibility.
